Tiffin University posted a strong pack score, as it finished just one stroke off the lead at the Parkside Spring Invitational after the first round at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Indiana.

Grand Valley State tied with Bellarmine to lead the field with a low of 286, while TU and McKendree were right on their heels with 287. In all, six teams were within 5 strokes of each other heading to day two.

The Dragons' top five golfers were all within two strokes of each other. Jay Green led the way with 71, while Jordan Bollenbacher, Noah Barth, and Cameron McCloskey all shot rounds of 72. Tomas Krivanec brought up the rear with a solid score of 73.
