Men's Golf hangs tough after day one of NCAA Super Regional

Tiffin University finished 11th of 20 teams after day one of the NCAA Central/Midwest Super Regional but were well within striking distance of the top heading to the second round.

The Dragons fired 284 but were just 5 strokes out of 2nd place as nearly all the teams stayed close to the top. Central Missouri led the pack with 272 while Lindenwood was second with 279 and Saginaw Valley State was third with 280.

Brett Green led the Dragons with a 68 and is currently tied for 10th. Tomas Krivanec was right behind with 69 while Jay Green had 72.

Jordan Bollenbacher shot 75 to come in fourth for the Dragons while Tyler Schepens brought up the rear with 80.
