Offense Overpowers Bobcats in 94-66 Victory

The Dragons (5-0) erupted offensively in a 94-66 win over Bryant & Stratton, earning their first 5-0 start in 27 years.
 
Tiffin shot 50.8 percent from the floor in total for the game and added 14 three-pointers made, the most in a single game so far this season, on 48.3 percent shooting from deep.
 
The Bobcats scored the first bucket and held the lead for just 10 seconds before the Dragons took the lead shortly after and never relinquished it for the remainder of the game. TU led 49-32 at the break and extended their lead to as many as 29 with two and a half minutes left to go.
 
Carius Key led the way for Tiffin with 21 points on 66.6 percent shooting. He also converted three of his four shots from three and tied for the team-high in assists with Morgan Taylor with six. Taylor had a solid outing, adding 15 points and five rebounds.
 
Ian Lopez reached double figures for the second consecutive game with 19 points on 55.5 percent shooting from deep. Wesley Jordan tallied 11 points and led the team with eight rebounds, followed closely by Rhaven Brown with seven. Eljae Deas came off the bench to pick up his first points of the season with a successful three-pointer and added a rebound as well.
 
The Dragons now have a nine-day break before hosting Walsh in their G-MAC conference opener on Thursday, November 30th at 7:30 p.m.
