Tiffin University (5-9, 3-5 G-MAC) was able to build a big first-half lead and went on to defeat Trevecca Nazarene 73-50.

The Dragons came out strong, opening up a 12-4 lead in the first 5:00. They then turned on the jets, going on a 17-6 run to push their lead to 31-13 with 3:49 left in the half. 

After taking a 37-18 lead into the halftime break, TU continued its hot streak in the second half. They opened with a 13-1 run that expanded their lead to 50-19 after 5:30, and they never looked back.

TU outrebounded TNU 46-32 and held the Trojans to 34 percent shooting in the game, including 25 percent in the first half.

The Dragons also forced 13 turnovers while committing only 7. 

TU also spread the offense around, with 13 different players scoring. Wesley Jordan led the way with 13 points and 6 rebounds, while Ian Lopez also reached double digits with 12 points. Joshua Rivers had 8 points, while Carius Key and Trent Williams added 7 apiece. Micale Harris pulled down 8 rebounds to lead the team.
