Tiffin University (3-5, 1-1 G-MAC) got its first conference win with a solid 72-56 win at Ohio Dominican.

A close first half went the Dragons way over the final 11:00, as TU turned up the offense to outscore the Panthers 26-10 over that stretch to post a 40-23 lead at the break.

TU maintained the lead throughout the second half to preserve the win. The Dragons hit 18 of 22 free throws (18-4 advantage at the line) while also shooting 46 percent from the field.

The Dragons also controlled the paint, holding a 36-29 edge in rebounds while also outscoring ODU in the paint 42-28. They also had a 17-9 edge in second-chance points.

Joshua Rivers led the offense with 18 points, followed by Wesley Jordan with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Carius Key had 12 points and Trent Williams made it four Dragons in double figures with 11 points.

Braxton Foreman added 6 points and 8 rebounds off the bench, while Ian Lopez also had 8 rebounds.
