Tiffin University's men's basketball program has announced the signing of three high school standouts.

Jacob Pleiman

6'7 Forward / Botkins High School 
 
1st Team All-Ohio, District 9 Player of the Year, 1st Team All-League
Scored 1,402 Career Points (3rd All-Time)
Kentucky vs Ohio All-Star Game Participant 
 
Botkins High School Finished Ohio Regional Runner-up Division IV 
 
"The location and the coaching staff played a major role in my decision to attend Tiffin University," said Pleiman. "Also, the major I was looking for made TU a perfect choice."  
 
"Jacob's ability to shoot the ball from the outside fits extremely well with Tiffin's style of play.  I am excited to see the impact Jacob will make as a Dragon," said Head Coach Phil Groves, Botkins High School.  
 
"Jacob is a tremendous talent and I am so excited that he has chosen to continue his academic and basketball career here at Tiffin.  Jacob's ability to stretch the floor while also giving us an interior presence makes him extremely valuable in our system," said TU Head Coach Tom Church.  
 
 
Kasey Hunt 

6'4 Shooting Guard / Sylvania Northview High School
 
1st Team All League, 1st Team District 7. Honorable Mention All State 
Sylvania Northview were District Champions 
 
"I chose TU because of the great opportunity to get my degree while also competing at a high level," said Hunt.  
 
"Kasey is a proven winner in all areas of life," said Head Coach Jeremy McDonald, Sylvania Northview.  
 
"Kasey has tremendous upside and he will have a bright future in a Tiffin Dragon uniform.  Kasey is a tireless worker and wants to be great and we are going to give him that opportunity here," said Church.

6'1 Combo Guard / Gahanna Lincoln High School  
 
2nd Team All OCC 
Won Defensive Award on High School Team 
Gahanna Lincoln finished Regional Runner-up in Division I 
 
"I chose Tiffin University because they consistently recruited me throughout my senior year and showed me that they really wanted me," said Deas.
 
"Eljae is a high quality, high character young man.  A true joy to coach at GLHS," said Head Coach Tony Staib, Gahanna Lincoln High School. "Tiffin is getting a complete guard with a solid overall game.  He can score, shoot, defend, handle it and do whatever it takes to win.  He has always been an unselfish player, putting the team first."  
 
"Eljae was on one of the best high school teams in the state with Gahanna Lincoln," said Church. "He competed nightly against amazing competition and that will help him in his transition to the college game.  He's one of the best defensive high school guards that I've seen and I enjoyed watching him all year compete at a high level."
