Tiffin University has been picked 11th in the preseason GMAC poll presented by Under Armour.

The Dragons (19 points) trailed Lake Erie (25) and Ohio Dominican (24) in the poll. Hillsdale landed the top spot by a slim 91-90 margin over Ashland, while Findlay (79) was third and Malone (74) was tabbed fourth.

Last year TU finished 5-14 in a GMAC-only schedule. They are led by Second Team All GMAC standout Trent Williams. 

Williams, a sophomore guard, led the team over 19 games with a 13.9 ppg average. He also led the team in assists with 4.3 per game. He led the team in field goals made with 97 and was second in three pointers made. He has scored 558 points over his first two seasons.

He also was fourth in the GMAC in assist/turnover ratio, while placing 11th in the conference in scoring. 

Other top returners include Tanner Johnson (10.8 ppg, team-best 60 three-pointers with 39.5 pct.), Wesley Jordan (11.2 ppg, led team in rebounding and was second in points), and Thomas Hickman (9.3 ppg, second on the team in assists and second in free throws made).
