The Tiffin men's Basketball team fell to Ky. Wesleyan 91-67 last week. The Dragons will host the Oilers on Thursday at the Gillmor Center, then head to Hillsdale on Saturday.

Dragon Details:

The Dragons are 1-3 over their last four games with a win at home against Ohio Valley. 

Last time out Tiffin lost to Kentucky Wesleyan 91-67.The Panthers shot 12-for-18 from beyond the arc compared to the Dragons 11-for-25. Tiffin was outrebounded 32-17. Trent Williams broke his career high with 18 points on the night. 

The Dragons have the number one offense in the conference averaging 84.8 points per game while shooting a G-MAC-best 40.3 percent from three-point range. 

Tiffin has a balanced attack with four players in double figures led by the number three scorer in the league Jaeden King averaging 17.6 points and 41.5 percent from beyond the arc, followed by Trent Williams, who broke his career-high last game with 18, and averages 13.0 points and 4.2 rebounds. Wesley Jordan averages 11.6 points and 4.8 rebounds along with Tanner Johnson at 10.2 points and 4.6 rebounds.    

Scouting the Oilers

The Oilers are 3-1 in their last four games with the lone loss against Walsh 86-60.  

Findlay is fourth in the conference in scoring, averaging 79.1 points per game and 34.3 boards per game (outrebounding their opponents by 2.7 per game.) 

Anthony Masterlasco leads Findlay in scoring at 15.0 points and shooting 64.6 percent from the field. Teammate Nathan Bruns averages 11.6 points and 5.9 rebounds and Tommy Schmock 11.0 points, 5.3 assists and 3.3 rebounds.

The Oilers lead the all-time series against the Dragons 48-8. Last time they met the Oilers took the game 89-74 on Dec. 11.

Scouting the Chargers

The Chargers are 3-1 over their last four contests with their one loss on a three-point buzzer-beater, 68-65 at Findlay. 

Hillsdale's defense is fourth in the G-MAC at 62.6 points per game, giving them the best margin in the conference outscoring their opponents by 16.3. 

The post tandem of Austen Yarian (15.3 ppg, 7.0 rpg) and Patrick Cartier (15.0 ppg, 5.9 rpg) leads the Chargers offense, which currently has five players averaging more than 8.0 points per game. 

The Chargers currently lead the series with the Dragons 26-6. The last time these teams met was Feb. 22 last season when Hillsdale won 89-77.
