The Tiffin University Men's Basketball team lost to Cedarville last week. This week the Dragons are set to travel to Ky. Wesleyan and finish with Trevecca Nazarene.

Dragon Details:

After a 101-77 loss to Cedarville, Tiffin and its conference-leading offense look to jump their GMAC opponent in the standings. 

The Dragons lead the conference averaging 89.3 points per game while shooting a GMAC-best 39.6 percent from beyond the arc. 

TU have five players in double figures with the number four scorer in the conference Jaeden King leading the way averaging 18.3 points per game and shooting 38.9% from three-point range, followed by Wesley Jordan with 13.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.3 steals, Tanner Johnson tallies 12.0 points, 4.8 rebounds and 1.0 steal, Trent Williams with 11.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists and Thomas Hickman with 10.8 points, 2.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists. 

Scouting the Panthers

The Panthers are off an 82-71 victory over Malone and currently sit in fifth, one spot above Tiffin. The Panthers could challenge TU defensively as they rank fifth overall in defense and are first in defending the three. 

Kentucky Wesleyan holds opponents to an average of 62.2 points and have the lowest opponent three point shooting percentage at 22.3%. The Panthers sit fourth in scoring margin with a 5.4 point advantage. 

The Panthers have three players in double figures with Tre Cobbs leading the way, scoring 18.4 points per game, 2.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists, while teammate Zach Hopewell averages 12.0 points and 3.0 rebounds and Wyatt Battaile leads the team in rebounds with 6.8 per game and 9.6 points. 

KWC holds a 9-1 record against the Dragons with their last encounter on Feb. 9 resulting in an 85-81 Tiffin win.

Scouting the Trojans

Trevecca are coming off a 67-46 loss to Walsh. The Trojans currently sit seventh in the conference, one spot behind Tiffin.

The Trojans have three players in double figures and are led by Brendan Newton who averages 13.8 points per game, 7.0 rebounds and 1.8 blocks, followed by Chris Rogers with 12.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Teammate Adam Webb averages 10.5 points and leads the team with 8.3 rebounds and 2.0 blocks. 

Trevecca have a 2-1 record versus the Dragons and last met on Feb. 7 where the Trojans took an 83-74 win.
