The Tiffin University men's basketball team will embark on their last road trip of the season, taking on the Purdue Northwest Pride and the Grand Valley State Lakers. 

Tiffin University vs. Purdue Northwest 

Last Matchup: The Dragons downed the Pride 61-58 in their first meeting as GLIAC foes. Tiffin held a 43-33 advantage on the boards, and the Dragons' free throw shooting proved to be the difference, knocking down 14 of 20 attempts while the Pride hit on only 4 of 10 throws.

Last Time Out: The Dragons fell to Lake Superior State last Saturday 80-76. Tiffin held a 2nd half lead, but the Lakers managed to chip away at Tiffin's lead and took the lead with a little over eight minutes remaining and never gave it up. 

Quick Hands: The Dragons are averaging 6.9 steals per game, ranking 4th in the GLIAC. 

One And Done: The Purdue Northwest Pride have won only one game this season, defeating Northwood University back on January 6. The Pride fell 79-61 to Wayne State last Saturday on the road. The Pride have had issues at all levels this season, ranking last in the GLIAC in points per game (66.0), three-point shooting percentage (32.1%), free throw percentage (65.4%), rebounding margin (-7.9), and points allowed per game (82.7).

 

Tiffin University vs. Grand Valley State 

Series Record: The Lakers hold a 13-2 advantage in the all-time series. 

Last Matchup: The Lakers slipped by the Dragons earlier this year, using an 11-2 run over the final two minutes of play to defeat Tiffin 80-71. The Lakers were opportunistic at the free throw line, holding a 14-6 advantage at the charity stripe.
