The Tiffin University men's basketball team finished 11-17 overall and 6-14 in the GLIAC. The Dragons entered the month of January having won five of six games, but fell on hard times down the stretch. The Dragons will lean on returning starters Alex Brown, Austin Adams, and the point guard play of Terrell Mabins.

Alex Brown finished last season averaging 9.7 points per game, hitting 40.3% of his field goals and 78% of his free throw attempts. Alex has had a quiet career that has amassed some serious numbers, sitting 86 points shy of 1,000, 108 rebounds short of 500, and 54 assists short of 200 for his career. Austin Adams will look to build upon his standout season last year, averaging 15.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Adams, a 2nd team All-GLIAC selection, pulled down eight or more boards in 13 games and scored 10 or more points in 21 of Tiffin's 28 games. Guard Terrell Mabins will be looked upon to help run the offense. Mabins, a junior, has seen action in 54 games, totaling 82 career assists.

The Dragons open their season at home in the G-MAC vs. GLIAC Challenge against Ohio Dominican. Tiffin opens GLIAC play in a tough environment, traveling to Big Rapids to tangle with the Ferris State Bulldogs. Tiffin's GLIAC home opener will be against Davenport University on December 7.
