Dragons crack Top 20 in national polls

The move jumps the Dragons four spots from last week. Tiffin is the only G-MAC school ranked nationally and has been steadily climbing the polls after their 8-0 start. The Dragons most recently beat Kentucky Wesleyan 37-12 to improve to 6-0 in the conference.

The Dragons also continue to factor high in the national statistical rankings. They rank in the Top 10 in 11 different categories. They are second in the nation in total offense and turnovers gained while also placing third in turnover margin, offensive first downs, and defensive touchdowns.  

The team is also 4th in rushing offense, 5th in scoring offense, 7th in defensive pass efficiency, 8th in pass yards allowed, 9th in fumbles recovered, and 10th in interceptions.  

Individually Tyrese Banks-Dorn leads the nation in yards per carry and is 15th in scoring, while teammate Ronald Blackman is 5th in yards per carry. 

Jesse Connell is also 9th in fumbles recovered, while Chucky Lewis is 15th in interceptions per game.
