Tiffin University continues to make its mark nationally this season.

The Dragons are receiving votes in the latest AFCA Division II national poll, rising to 34th overall. They are the highest-ranked G-MAC team. The only other G-MAC team ranked nationally is Ashland, which fell to 40th. 

Defensively Tiffin is second in the nation in turnover margin while also sitting in 10th in defensive passing efficiency. Jesse Connell is also fourth in fumble recoveries while Robert Holtz is also fourth in sacks.  

The offense is also getting in on the action, with the team placing 4th in total offense, 5th in scoring offense, and 8th in rushing offense. They are also ranked 4th in offensive first downs and 3rd in punt return average. 

Devin Nelson is Top 5 in yards per carry, placing 5th, while also ranking 10th in total rushing yards, while teammate Ronald Blackman is 9th in yards per carry. Jalen Thomas also appears 9th overall in receiving touchdowns.

The Dragons return home to continue G-MAC play against Ashland with a 4 p.m. game at Frost Kalnow Stadium.
