Anthony Lowe has been named GMAC Special Teams Athlete of the Week.

Lowe had one kick return for 77 yards and one punt return for 34 yards in a big 48-3 win over Northwood. He posted 185 all-purpose yards, as he also had 60 yards receiving and a 14-yard rush.

Lowe is currently 7th in the nation in punt returns with a 16.7 yards per return average, and is also averaging 36.9 yards per kick return on 8 returns. That total would lead the nation but he is just beneath the minimum number of returns to qualify for the standings. He is also 9th in the nation in receptions per game (7.4) and 24th in the nation in receiving yards per game with 86 yards per game.
