Sir Zion Dance has been named GMAC Football Defensive Player of the Week.

Dance led the Dragons with 11 tackles in their last-second defeat at the hands of 12th-ranked Indianapolis. He also had a half sack and 1.5 tackles for loss in the game.

For the season he leads the team with 26 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks.
