Fort Worth – Tiffin University running back JaQuan Hardy has accepted an invitation to participate in the 2021 College Gridiron Showcase & Symposium (CGS) being held January 17-21 in Fort Worth, Texas.

With its unique showcase format, no other premiere college football all-star event gives participants as many quality opportunities to display their talent.  Adapting to the times, the 2021 Showcase will see players perform individual and non-timed, non-contact combine style drills, attend meetings, and, in many cases have the opportunity for personal interviews with scouts and executives.  CGS is one of the few high-profile postseason events at which draft-eligible seniors can showcase their skills and interface with scouts and executives prior to 2021 league drafts.

Hardy, a Westlake, Ohio native (Westlake HS) was named Don Hansen Third Team All American, Honorable Mention D2Football.com All American, Second Team D2CCA and AFCA All American, Don Hansen First Team Super Region I, D2CCA First Team All Region, 2019 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and First Team All-GMAC after rushing for 1,554 yards and 15 touchdowns.

Since its inaugural event in 2015, more than 500 CGS participants have been offered pro opportunities. At the 2020 College Gridiron Showcase, scouts from 31 of the 32 NFL teams, all nine CFL teams, and other professional leagues were on hand to evaluate and meet with our players. In total, participants had the opportunity to showcase their skills to 150 professional scouts.

In addition to its on-field aspects, CGS also contains a strong professional football education symposium component.  Athletes are provided education through seminars relating to Financial Education, Life as a Professional Athlete, Player Expectations (on and off-field), first-hand accounts from former NFL rookies, social media responsibilities, and more.  For more information on the College Gridiron Showcase and the CGS Small School Invitational Showcase, please visit cgsallstar.com.
