Dragons compete at OSU Hunt

The Tiffin University Equestrian Team traveled to the last hunt show weekend for the season at Ohio State's Sid Griffiths facility.
 
The show started off with the jumping Divisions. In the Intermediate Jumping, Melissa Macechko came in 2nd place and Paige McCaslin came in 5th place. In the Novice Jumping, first-time jumper Calysta Herniter jumped a  beautiful course and received a 5th place,  Devyn Hennessey came in 5th place which qualifies her for regional finals, and moves her into Intermediate Jumping, and Sydney Cox came into 4th place. 
 
In the Open Flat, Carolyn McCurrach had an eventful ride. In the Intermediate Flat, Paige McCaslin rode in a big class, Lindsay Weiser received 4th place, Devyn Hennessey came in 2nd place and Melissa Macechko came in 6th place. In the Novice Flat, Sydney Cox came in first place, qualifying her for regional finals and pointing her up in the Intermediate Flat and Calysta Herniter showed her first Novice Flat class. In the Advanced Walk/Trot/Canter classes, Emily Boersen came in 6th place, Bridget Webber came in 5th place, Kaitlyn Borer received 4th place and Melody Lozano received 3rd place. In the Walk/Trot division, Arissa Hendershot had a beautiful line up during her class. 
 
Tiffin University came 4th out of nine teams. The Champion Team was Otterbein University with 36 points, Ohio State University came in Reserve Champion with 31 points, Ohio University came in 3rd place with 23 points, Tiffin University came in 4th place with 15 points, Kenyon came in 5th place with 10 points, Willmington came in 6th place with 6 points and Ohio Wesleyan came in 7th  place with 1 point.
