Tiffin University (13-30, 5-21 G-MAC) picked up two victories at Cedarville, winning 7-6 and 8-5.

In the opener, Kyler Archual started and pitched 6.2 innings, allowing 6 earned runs with 7 strikeouts. Steven Sexton came on in relief to get the win, tossing 1.1 innings of scoreless ball, while Patrick Dinnen closed out the game with an inning of work for the save.

TU got on the board in the second inning. Tim Orr doubled and advanced on an error by the left fielder. Hilario DeLaPaz then singled him home.

TU got another run in the fifth as Logan Swonger doubled and came home on Griffin Stevens's single.

Trailing 6-2 in the seventh, Swonger walked and stayed on the basepaths after Andrew Fairbrother's fielder's choice was muffed by the shortstop. Orr then doubled to drive in two runs.

TU made its move in the eighth inning. Down 6-4 with two outs, Michael Zinter was hit by a pitch following a walk by Swonger. Stevens then followed with a two-run double. Orr then singled him home to put TU up 7-6.

In the ninth inning, Dinnen pitched out of a runner on second with two outs by inducing a flyout to right field.

In game two, Rob DeBastos got the win with 4.1 innings of work, allowing 6 hits and 3 earned runs. Noah Kandel got the save, getting a double play in the seventh inning with two on for the Yellow Jackets.

TU opened with five runs in the second inning. DeLaPaz drilled a solo home run. Ben Bach and Dawson Groch followed with singles, while Aidan Grabowski was hit by a pitch. Carter Klausing then blasted a grand slam to get TU off to a hot start.

TU expanded its lead in the fourth. Groch walked and Swonger drove him in with a two-out double to give TU a 6-0 lead.

Another run scored in the fifth. Orr doubled and DeLaPaz singled to drive him home.

Up 7-5 in the sixth, Swonger singled and advanced on an error in center field. Tommy Thamann then singled for an RbI.
