Tiffin University (4-6) beat Minnesota State 10-5 after falling to Gannon 15-3, earning a split on the day.

The Dragons controlled the game against Minnesota State, totaling 13 hits while holding Minnesota State to just 3 hits. Noah Kandel got the win, pitching 4.1 innings and allowing 4 earned runs on two hits. Ben Hubert also had a strong outing in relief, going 4.1 innings and allowing just one earned run.

In the third, TJ Truso and Griffin Stevens both singled, with Cal Brazier doubling home a run. Ty Hatfield followed with a sacrifice fly for another run, and Brazier then scored on a groundout to second base as TU plated three runs.

TU added to the lead in the fourth. Logan Swonger singled and moved up on a sacrifice. Truso then drove him home with a single. Stevens and Brazier both reached on errors at third base, and Hatfield drove in another run with a single.

In the sixth, Stevens and Brazier singled, and Hatfield got another RBI with a single.

TU got two more runs in the seventh inning. Aidan Grabowski walked and Truso singled. Stevens then kept up the hot hitting with a double for 2 RBI.

TU's final run came on a Ricky Havrilla home run in the eighth inning.

Against Gannon, the Dragons got off to a rocky start, trailing 9-1 after just 2.5 innings of play. Patrick Dinnen took the loss, allowing 9 earned runs in 2 innings of work. Rob DeBastos followed with 2.2 innings, allowing 4 earned runs while fanning 7.

TU had six hits in the game, all singles.

In the second inning, Hatfield walked and Havrilla singled. Hatfield advanced to third on a fielder's choice and then scored on a wild pitch.

With two outs in the third, Brazier singled and Hilario DeLaPaz was hit by a pitch. Hatfield then drove in a TU run with a single.

Lastly, in the fourth, Swonger singled and moved to second on a ground out to second base. After moving to third on a wild pitch, he then scored on a balk.
