The NCBWA has released Division II Top 25 Baseball rankings, and Tiffin Baseball Ranked No. 8 in the Midwest Region. 

Trevecca Nazarene is ranked first in the Region with six first-place votes, followed by Davenport in second with two first-place votes, Illinois Springfield in third, Northwood fourth, Lindenwood fifth, Quincy sixth, Grand Valley State seventh, and Tiffin eighth, ahead of Ohio Dominican and Ashland.

Along with a top ten regional ranking, Griffin Stevens was selected to the 2022 NCBWA Midwest Region First Team. 

Last season the Dragons started with a 10-2 record, finished the season with a 29-16 record, and were able to progress all the way to the finals of the GMAC tournament as a fifth seed where they lost to the champions Trevecca Nazarene.

With many veterans and solid newcomers to the squad, Tiffin looks to have another successful season under Coach Joe Wilkins. The first series of the 2022 baseball season is set for February 12-13 against Northwood in Johnson City, Tennessee at the TVA Credit Union Stadium. Then, the Dragons head to Hendersonville, Tenn. on February 18-19, which will be a four-game series against Wayne State at Drakes Creek Park.
