Kelly Daniel is in her 29th year as an employee of Tiffin University in 2023-24. She is serving in her first year as Assistant Vice President/Director of Athletics.
Daniel becomes the 5th Director of Athletics in the past 40 years of Tiffin University Athletics. She is the first female Director of Athletics in the university’s long intercollegiate history.
Daniel has considerable experience with many of the day-to-day aspects of running the athletic department, having served as Senior Woman Administrator, Compliance Director, and Assistant Vice President of Athletics, among many other duties. She also has helped direct a number of projects throughout the department, efforts that resulted in growth internally and externally.
In 2001, Kelly took on the Director of Compliance and Athletic Services role. She also became the Senior Woman Administrator in 2016. From 2019-2022 she served as Senior Associate Athletic Director. Daniel was named Assistant Vice President for Athletics in May of 2022.
Kelly is on several Great Midwest Athletic Conference and campus committees and also started the “This is ME” guest speaker-based series for our female student-athletes in 2017.
Kelly received her Bachelor of Business in Management in 1995 and her Master of Education from the University of Findlay in 2000.
She and her husband Rod (also a TU Alum) live in Tiffin with their children Adam (a current TU student), Abby, and Anna.
