Phil Sabatka (2000-03) is one of the premier baseball players in Tiffin University history. He is a two-time NAIA All-American, landing the honors in 2002 and 2003. Along the way he also garnered three All-Region and four All-American Mideast Conference citations. He is the career record holder for hits, RBI, home runs, and total bases while also holding the single season record for RBI. He helped lead the team to two NAIA Regional Tournament appearances and was a key member of the team that set the single season wins record with 30 victories in 2003. He also helped the team set the single season batting average record of .364 in 2003. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and currently works for Aktabase Technology Company. He and his family reside in Springfield, Illinois.
