Wesley Russell (1995-98) is one of the premier defensive backs in Tiffin University football history. He earned Second Team Football Gazette All-American honors while amassing four All-Mid-States Football Association citations during his career. He holds the career interceptions and blocked kicks record while also ranking fifth in career tackles and second in deflections. He ranks in the top five in four defensive categories. He earned a degree in Criminal Justice and currently works as a counselor for Direction for Youth and Families. He resides in Columbus, Ohio.
