Michael Weppernig has had a sensational season for the men's golf team during the 2021-22 season. 

Weppernig, a senior from Obernau, Switzerland, landed First Team All GMAC honors while leading the Dragons to the GMAC Championship. Weppernig came from behind on the final playoff hole to secure the title for the Dragons. This followed his school-record 18-hole round of 65 in the third round. 

He leads the team in scoring average with 73.61.
