Coming off an incredible and historic freshman season, Marisa Gwinner is off to a great start to her sophomore campaign after a record-breaking performance in her first meet of the indoor season.

At the Tiffin Alumni Open, Gwinner cleared a height of 1.76 meters in the high jump that is a new PR, Tiffin record, facility record, and GMAC record.

The mark also earned Gwinner an NCAA automatic qualifier, punching her ticket to the 2020 NCAA Indoor Championships in March, held in Birmingham, Alabama.

At the national championships, the two-time All-American will look to add to an already decorated trophy case as she finished third in the high jump at the indoor meet last year and followed that up with becoming Tiffin's first-ever female National Champion at the outdoor championships.
