Tiffin University's women's wrestling team has been ranked in the annual 2024 NWCA preseason poll.

The Dragons were ranked 17th nationally Tiffin was just outside the Top 10 in a crowded field, with Adrian, Lindenwood, Mount Olive, Aurora, Presbyterian, Northern Michigan, and Emmanuel finishing within 6 points of each other.

North Central was tops in the poll with 132 points, followed by King with 67 and McKendree with 60.

Individually Jenavi Alejandro was ranked 3rd in the country at 101 pounds (2nd in the Open Mat rankings) after her runner-up performance at last year's national championships. She is the only Dragons grappler currently nationally ranked.

Overall Alejandro finished 34-8 on the season, setting a new single-season wins record for the Dragons' program. It also marked the second consecutive season that Tiffin had a finalist in the 101-pound weight class at the National Championships.

Also in the Open Mat rankings, Tatiana Bermudez was ranked 12th at 136 pounds.
