Jenavi Alejandro finished as NCWWC National Runner-up at 101 pounds, finishing just two points short of a national title.

Alejandro had a strong showing at the National Championships, posting a semifinal win over Lizette Rodriguez of McKendree to set up a title showdown with North Central's Madison Avila.

Alejandro started strong, building a 3-0 lead after the first period.

Avila came back in the second, however, scoring 5 points to take the title.

She defeated East Stroudsburg 10-0 in her opener and then outpointed Colorado Mesa 8-5 to reach the semis.

Overall Alejandro finished 34-8 on the season, setting a new single-season wins record for the Dragons' program. It also marked the second consecutive season that Tiffin had a finalist in the 101-pound weight class at the National Championships.
