Dragons finish 3rd at G-MAC Championships

Tiffin University posted its best finish in four years at the G-MAC Outdoor Track Championships, tying for third.

Findlay won the event with 189.75, while Hillsdale was second with 157. Tiffin and Ashland tied with 122 apiece.

Rajiah Andrews won the 100 hurdles with a provisional time of 13.99, while also hitting a provo mark in the 200 meters, finishing second in 24.20. She also took second in the 100 in 11.89. For her performance, Andrews was named Female Track Athlete of the Meet.

Brook Boes won the other title for TU, hitting an NCAA mark in the discus with 47.93. Claudia Chirila also took 5th in the discus with 42.83.

C'airra Carter finished second in the high jump, hitting an NCAA mark with 1.70 meters while also finishing 4th in the triple jump with 11.26.

Other top finishes included Amirah Strauther (2nd in the 100 hurdles in 14.26), Samantha Hoelscher (6th in 400 hurdles in 1:04.98, 8th in 100 hurdles in 15.36), the 4x100 relay team (4th in 47.25), and the 4x400 relay team (5th in 3:59.97).
