Lady Dragons complete day one at G-MAC Championships

Tiffin University's women's outdoor track squad competed on day one of the G-MAC Outdoor Championships.

Tiffin sits 6th of 12 teams after the first day. Findlay leads with 26 points while Hillsdale was next with 21 and Walsh third with 19. Tiffin has 9 points.

Emily Curtice was the highest finisher in limited action, finishing 3rd in the javelin with a throw of 38.78 meters. Claudia Chirila finished 6th in the same event with a throw of 34.61.

Brook Boes also finished 10th in the hammer throw with 49.03.

With four events completed in the heptathlon, Tiffin's Curtice was in first place with 2806 points, followed by C'airra Carter with 2721.

Competition continues on May 4.
