Women's Track and Field team competes at Lewis Open

The Tiffin University women's track and field squad competed at the Lewis Open.

Rajiah Andrews won the 60 hurdles with a time of 8.64, hitting an NCAA DII Provisional mark, and teammate Amirah Strauther was fourth with a time of 9.16. Andrews also hit a provisional time in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.58.

Ines Macadam took first place in the 800-meter run with an NCAA DII Provisional mark time of 2:12.36.

C'airra Carter placed fifth in the high jump with a mark of 1.60 meters and Emma Zibbel was sixth with a mark of 1.55 meters.

Samantha Smith led the pole vaulters with a fifth place mark of 3.68 meters, Olivia Ward was seventh with a mark of 3.53 meters, Elliott Pennell came in eighth with a mark of 3.38 meters, and Lily Hollibaugh was ninth with a mark of 3.38 meters.

The quartet of Chelsea Janis, Allison Henegar, Ines Macadam, and Zaynah Tate finished fourth in the 4 x 400 relay with a time of 4:08.42.

Elliott Pennell placed sixth in the 200-meter run with a time of 25.85 and Chelsea Janis came in 10th with a time of 26.26.

Chelsea Janis finished seventh in the 400 meters with a time of 1:01.90.
