Tiffin University (18-6) came up short in some three-set singles matches, falling to Northwood 4-2 in the semifinals of the G-MAC Championships.

TU dropped the doubles point, with only Shea Foster/Jessica Peace winning by a 6-1 score. Carina Avram/Anaelle Lepinay fell 6-3, and Celine Ferron/Emily Barrett lost 6-1.

Lepinay picked up a straight set 6-2, 6-3 singles win, while Avram also won 7-5, 6-3. Barrett, however, fell 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, and Peace also fell 6-4, 1-6, 6-4 in pivotal matches. Ferron also fell 6-4, 6-1.

TU, ranked 4th in the latest Midwest Region rankings, will now await their fate when selections are made for the NCAA Midwest Regional.
