Four Dragons honored by G-MAC Women's Tennis Team announcement

Four Tiffin University women's tennis standouts were honored as the G-MAC announced its 2023 All-Conference team.

Phil Conley was named Coach of the Year after leading the Dragons to another G-MAC regular season championship. They will be the top seed enterin the G-MAC Championships this week.

Anaelle Lepinay and Carina Avram were named First Team selections, while Emily Barrett was named Second Team.

Lepinay is now a two-time All G-MAC pick in her two seasons. She posted a 13-6 singles record and a 12-8 doubles mark this season.

Avram, meanwhile, also earned her second all-conference honor. She boasts an 11-6 singles mark along with a 11-7 doubles record.

Barrett is now a two-time First Team All G-MAC selection after also earning Freshman of the Year honors last season. She holds a 12-6 singles record and an 11-9 doubles record.

This marks Conley's ninth Coach of the Year honor in the conference - 6 times with the women's program, 3 times with the men. He has previously been named 2022 ITA Midwest Region Coach of the Year as well as 2021 Women's GMAC Coach of the Year, 2019 Men's GMAC Coach of the Year, 2017 Men's and Women's GLIAC Coach of the Year as well as Wilson/ITA Women's Coach of the Year, and 2013 Women's GLIAC Coach of the Year.
