Tiffin University (8-2) fell to 24th-ranked Florida Southern 5-2 in a match closer than the score might indicate.

The Dragons just missed the doubles point, as Carina Avram/Anaelle Lepinay fell in the deciding match 7-6 (7-2). Mathilde Gilles/Jessica Peace won their match 6-2, while Emily Barrett/Shea Foster fell 6-1.

Lepinay won a tough three-set singles match 5-7, 7-6 (10-8), 1-0 (10-7), while Avram won another three-setter 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5).

Peace came out on the short end of a three-set match 4-6, 6-2, 10-7, while Gilles lost 7-5, 6-3. Celine Ferron fell 6-3, 6-2, and Barrett also fell 6-3, 6-2.
