Tiffin University (6-1) got its spring trip off to a good start, posting a 5-0 shutout of Augusta and a 6-1 win over Wartburg in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Against Augusta, Tiffin picked up a quick doubles point by taking two of three matches. Anaelle Lepinay/Carina Avram posted a fast 6-1 decision, while Emily Barrett/Shea Foster also won 7-5. Mathilde Gilles/Jessica Peace fell in their match 6-4.

Lepinay then came from behind to win her singles match 4-6, 7-5, 1-0, while TU's other singles wins were all straight sets. Barrett won 6-4, 6-2, Peace raced to a 6-3, 6-2 victory, and Avram finished it off with a 6-4, 6-4 win.

Against Wartburg, TU got five singles wins along with the doubles point. Barrett had a 6-1, 6-2 victory, while Celine Ferron also pulled out a 7-6, 6-1 win. Gilles had a quick 6-0, 6-1 win, as did Foster with a 6-1, 6-2 score. Aashi Kapoor won the final singles match 6-2, 6-3. Rachel Kandathil ost the day's toughest battle 7-5, 7-5.

In doubles, Foster/Barrett won 6-2 and Lepinay/Kapoor posted a 6-3 victory. Kandathil/Avram lost a tough doubles match 7-6.
