The Tiffin University women's basketball team (4-7, 1-3 GMAC) fell to conference rival Findlay 60-42.

In the first quarter, the Dragons were outscored 21-2 by the Oilers.

The Oilers continued their momentum into the second quarter as they found themselves up 31-5 with 5:11 left in the first half. Tiffin awoke, going on a tear, outscoring the host 13-2 to go into the breakdown 33-18.

After the break, the two teams traded buckets until the Oilers went on a 5-0 run to lead 41-23. The Dragons responded with a 5-0 run to cut the lead to 41-28. Heading into the final frame Findlay held a 42-28 lead.

Findlay went on a 4-1 run to start the fourth quarter to lead 46-29. Tiffin refused to give up, going on an 11-4 run to cut the lead down to 50-40 with 2:53 left in regulation. The Oilers made some clutch buckets to seal the 60-42 win.

Catara Dejarnette led the team with 14 points shooting 5-for-10 and 4-for-7 from beyond the arc, with four rebounds, and one assist, and Savanah Richards had 10 points shooting 4-for-11 from the field, four rebounds, and one assist.
