The Tiffin University women's basketball team (2-2, 0-0 GMAC) fell 78-50 to Grand Valley State.

The Lakers started with a 9-2 run, and Tiffin responded with a 7-2 burst to trail 11-9 with 2:49 left in the quarter. Grand Valley State ended with a 22-13 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Grand Valley outscored Tiffin 15-10 in the second quarter to take a 37-23 lead at the break.

The Lakers kept the momentum and led 60-37 into the final frame.

The Dragons had a late surge on a 7-5 run to cut the lead down to 73-47. The Lakers went on a 5-3 run to seal the 78-50 win.
