Widchard Guervil finished 11th in the 200-meter dash preliminary.

Guervil ran a personal-best time of 20.70 in the race but could not crack the top nine places to advance to the finals May 27.

His time gives him a Second Team All-American honor.

Guervil was the lone men's track and field athlete competing on May 26. TU will see more action on the final day May 27 as Jacob McPherson will compete in the shot put, Malachi Adams will compete in the 100-meter dash, and the 4x100 relay team will also race in their final.
