Dragons remain in first place heading to final day of G-MAC Championships

The Dragons lead the field with 62 points, followed by Findlay with 54, Northwood with 52, and Walsh with 40.

The top finish of the day for TU came in the high jump, where Garrett Hoepf finished second with an NCAA mark of 2.05 meters.

TU got 13 points from its shot put team, with Jacob McPherson taking 4th with 16.39 meters, Matthew Lamb 5th with 16.28, Kevin Hornbeak 6th with 16.12, and Benedict Draghi 8th with 16.07.

Joshua Bishop also finished 5th in the steeplechase in 9:18.65.

In preliminary action, Widchard Guervil (100 in a provo mark of 10.50, 200 in another provo mark of 20.94), Malachi Adams (100 in 10.55, 200 in an NCAA mark of 21.10), and Dylan Randall (100 in 10.66, 200 in 21.53) all qualified for the finals.

Nathaniel Ondracek also qualified in both the 1500 (3:56.61) and 800 (1:52.92). Charles Guigon also qualified in the 1500 in 3:58.51, while Shimar Bain qualified in the 400 hurdles in a provisional time of 52.65.

Finally, in the 400, Drevon Trapp (48.60) and Michael McNeil (49.46) both qualified for the finals.
