Men's Track and Field team Hosts Tiffin Open

The Tiffin University men's track and field team hosted their first home event of the winter season at the Tiffin Open.

The men were led by sprinters Malachi Adams and Dylan Randall, who finished first and second respectively in the 60 meters. Adams hit a provisional mark and also posted the fastest time in the country so far with a 6.69 time, while Randall also took second with a provisional mark of 6.82. Adams was also a winner in the 200 meters with a time of 22.25.

Collin Jasin also hit a provisional mark in the pole vault with a winning clearance of 4.85 meters.

Reyhan Muhammad was 2nd in the 800 in 2:00.89, Jake Price was 3rd in the triple jump with 12.85 meters, Josiah Gadson was 3rd in the pole vault with 4.55, Garrett Hoepf was 3rd in the high jump with 6.93 meters, and Drevon Trapp was 4th in the 400 meters in 50.87.

Benedict Draghi came in second in the shot put with a mark of 15.98 meters, and Ryan Cook was third with a throw of 15.56 meters. Brock Carlson was fifth in the shot put with a mark of 15.33 meters and teammate Kevin Hornbeak was seventh with a throw of 15.19 meters.
