Tiffin University (11-2-3, 10-1-3 G-MAC) closed out its strong regular season with a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Findlay on a frigid day at Paradiso Fields.

Findlay opened the scoring in the 11th minute when Nick McCracken scored an unassisted goal, but the Dragons responded quickly when Zach Garcia took a cross from Noah Purtz and flicked it home in the 14th minute to equalize.

The two teams battled evenly throughout the first half, with Findlay outshooting TU 5-4.

The momentum turned in the second half, with the Dragons outshooting the Oilers 10-2 over the final 45 minutes. Neither defense, however, would give in, as both teams each had 3 total shots on goal. TU outshot Findlay overall 14-7.

Felix Graf played in goal 90 minutes for the Dragons, making 2 saves.

Tiffin will now host G-MAC Quarterfinal action on Nov. 4 at 1 pm at Paradiso Fields.
