Dragons improve to 2-0 in G-MAC with win over Panthers

Tiffin University tied Northwood on the road 1-1.

Tiffin University (3-1, 2-0 G-MAC) shined on defense and scored two late goals to pull away from Kentucky Wesleyan 3-0.

Tiffin outshot the Panthers 16-3 in the game, allowing just one shot on goal over 90 minutes. 

They got their first goal in the 20th minute when Jahzihno O'Garro took a pass from Luke Alexander-Frost and scored to give TU a 1-0 lead heading into halftime.

The Dragons continued to control the tempo throughout the second half but could not add an insurance goal until the 72nd minute when Malvin Gblah took a pass from Davide Frezzi and expanded the Dragons' lead.

TU tacked on another goal just three minutes later when Gblah dished a pass to Zach Garcia to cap off TU's scoring.

Felix Graf got the win in goal, making a save on the lone shot on goal he faced. 

TU now travels to Findlay for their next conference matchup Sept. 20.
