John Oshakpemhe and George McCarthy have been named OCSA All-Ohio selections. The honor covers all NCAA Division II and NAIA programs in Ohio.

Oshakpemhe was also previously named D2CCA Third Team All-American by vote of the nation's Sports Communicators.

Oshakpemhe is just the fourth Tiffin University men's soccer player to land NCAA All-American honors. He is the first defender to earn the honor.

Oshakpemhe was also a D2CCA Midwest Region First Team selection after a brilliant campaign at defender. He had previously been named G-MAC Defensive Player of the Year and a First Team pick. He led a defensive effort that accounted for 10 shutouts on the season while holding opponents to just 8 shots per game and 6.8 shots on goal per contest.

McCarthy was also previously named First Team All G-MAC. McCarthy scored 3 goals with 2 assists for 8 points out of the midfield This marked McCarthy's second All G-MAC honor.

The OCSA represents all Collegiate Soccer programs in Ohio. The OCSA is one of the oldest state Collegiate Coaching Associations in the US. The association was formed in 1953 and was significantly responsible for the growth, development, and organization of collegiate soccer in Ohio.  In the early days, the OCSA was responsible for coaching education, referee development, and training. Another major activity of the association was the development of an awards program for players and coaches. The OCSA has annually recognized over 300 student-athletes and coaches.
