The Dragons (292-291-301; 884) closed out the Midwest Regional at the Country Club of St. Albans with a first-place finish, winning their second tournament in a row.

Tiffin outlasted Ferris State who finished four strokes behind in second place. Rounding out the top five was the hosts, Missouri - St. Louis, in third place followed by William Jewell and McKendree.

After being forced to end round two early due to darkness, the Dragons picked up right where they left off the day before, posting their best round score of the tournament with a 291.

Johan Widal picked up his first tournament victory of the season after shooting a tournament-low 67 in round one. He followed it up with rounds of 72 and 76 to finish one stroke ahead of Findlay's Donnie Professori.

The Dragon's next three golfers ended within one stroke of each other as Mitchell Brassard (71-75-77; 223) ended in a tie for 14th place. Following closely was Justin Hand (77-72-75; 224) and Ryan Norkin (77-72-75; 224) who both matched each other in every single round, including shooting even pars in round two, for a tie for 17th. Matt Flynn (78-78-75; 231) improved his score by three strokes in the final round to end in a tie for 41st place.

Next week, Tiffin travels to neighboring Findlay for the Doc Spragg Invite at Findlay Country Club, beginning on Monday, October 16th.
