Dragons Place Ninth in Indianapolis

Mitchell Brassard finished top-10 after the conclusion of the UIndy Invitational as the Dragons (289-308-289; 886) placed in ninth as a team.

Tiffin finished just one stroke behind fellow G-MAC school, Ashland (885), in eighth place. The Dragons ended two strokes ahead of Findlay (888) in a tie for 11th place as well as Northwood (891) in 14th.

Brassard (66-77-72; 215) shot an even par in the third and final round to improve to a tie for 10th. His six-under-par in round one was the lowest of the whole tournament.

The next three Dragons on the scoresheet were all within three strokes of each other as Johan Widal (74-75-73; 222) ended tied for 40th, followed by Justin Hand (76-74-74; 224) in a tie for 50th, and the freshman Liam Harvey (73-82-70; 225) tied for 56th.

Braeden Casto (83-82-82; 247) was the fifth and final golfer for the Dragons, coming in 86th place.

Next up, Tiffin will be in familiar territory as it hosts the Kyle Ryman Memorial Invite at the Mohawk Golf & Country Club on Monday and Tuesday, October 2-3.
