Former Tiffin University standout quarterback Nick Watson will be competing for the Ohio Force of Major League Football.

Major League Football is a professional developmental league that will play its debut season in the fall of 2022. The Ohio Force is one of four initial teams competing this season, along with the Alabama Airborne (coached by Jerry Glanville), the Arkansas Attack, and the Virginia Armada. The Force is coached by former Ohio State assistant and Ohio Dominican Head Coach Bill Conley. They will play their home games at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.

The Force will play four games between Aug. 9-30, with home games on Aug. 16 (7 pm vs. Virginia) and Aug. 23 (7 pm vs. Alabama). 

Watson finished his impressive career with TU in 2021, earning Don Hansen Honorable Mention All American honors. 

Watson was previously named GMAC 2021 Offensive Player of the Year. Overall he earned five All GMAC selections in his career, and his second as Offensive Player of the Year following a Player of the Year nod in 2020.

He led the GMAC in passing yards, touchdowns, average passing yards per game, and QB efficiency. He finishes his career with TU records for yards passing with 12,186, passing touchdowns with 99, and most attempts with 1544.
