Nick Watson has been named Don Hansen Honorable Mention All American following his superb 2021 season.

Watson becomes the fifth TU football player to land a Don Hansen All American honor, following Nate Washington (2004), Dyshaun Edwards (2008), Charles Holland (2016), and Antonio Pipkin (2016).

Watson was previously named GMAC 2021 Offensive Player of the Year. Overall he earned five All GMAC selections in his career, and his second as Offensive Player of the Year following a Player of the Year nod in 2020.

He led the GMAC in passing yards, touchdowns, average passing yards per game, and QB efficiency. He finishes his career with TU records for yards passing with 12,186, passing touchdowns with 99, and most attempts with 1544.
