Kevin Hyde has been named GMAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Hyde continued his strong season, as he matched the conference's single-game interception record with his performance against Kentucky Wesleyan. 
 
Hyde picked off three passes against the Panthers, accounting for all of KWC's turnovers in the game. 
 
Hyde came up big for the Dragons in a pivotal overtime win over Kentucky Wesleyan. Two of his picks came inside the red zone to put a halt to potential scoring drives by the Panthers.
 
Hyde added five tackles and now has five interceptions which ties him for the conference lead.
