Tiffin University (9-15, 1-7 G-MAC) could not shut down Northwood's offense, allowing 24 hits in a pair of 11-4 and 14-3 defeats.
The long ball plagued the Dragons in the opener, as starter Logan Fisher went 3.2 innings and allowed 6 earned runs including 3 home runs.
The Dragons were forced to play catch-up throughout the game. In the first inning trailing 3-0, Aidan Grabowski singled, stole second and advanced to third on a flyout to right field. He then scored on a wild pitch.
Down 8-1 in the fifth, Tim Orr drilled a home run. Ben Bach followed with a hit by pitch and came home on Cal Brazier's double.
TU added more runs in the sixth inning. Connor Huzicka walked and Ricky Havrilla followed with a single. Both runners moved up on a wild pitch, with Huzicka scoring on Grabowski's groundout to shortstop to make the score 8-4, Northwood.
Northwood added three more runs in the 7th inning to put the game out of reach.
In the nightcap, three TU errors led to 5 unearned runs as NU ended the game in seven innings.
Gunnar Boehm took the loss, pitching 4 innings and allowing 7 runs (2 earned).
TU managed just 6 hits, with Griffin Stevens getting two of them with a double, and Orr adding two more with a home run and 2 RBI. Ben Bach also homered.
Bach hit his solo home run in the second inning to open the scoring. TU added two more in the third to leap ahead 3-0. Stevens singled and Orr drilled his second home run of the day.
Northwood came back in a hurry, scoring four runs in the fourth and blowing the game wide open with 7 runs in the fifth.
