Jim Hammond

Jim Hammond is one of the most successful Men's Basketball coaches in Tiffin University's history. Hammond coached the Dragons from 1986-97, leading the Dragons to three NAIA National Tournament appearances. Tiffin University also won two District 22 Championships and one Mid-Ohio Conference Championship during that period. The Dragons were consistently ranked in the top 20 in the nation over his career. Hammond won 171 games, including a 114-48 stretch from 1988-93. He is a two-time District 22 and Mid-Ohio Conference Coach of the Year. He earned a Bachelor's degree from Otterbein College and two Master's degrees from Xavier University. He currently serves as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Norfolk State University. He and his family reside in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
