Academic awards abounded for Tiffin University's women's wrestling team as the NWCA announced its 2020-21 honorees.

Overall the Dragons were named a Scholar All American Team, posting the 7th best GPA in the nation for Division II with a 3.521 mark. Adrian led the nation with a 3.743 GPA.

Individually the Dragons had nine Scholar All Americans. Brooke Richards, Sugey Ceja, Stephanie Mondragon, Abbi Montgomery, Aliya Martin, Nia Miranda, Taylor Hites, Morgan Davidson, and Jessie Lee all landed All American honors academically.

In all, awards went to 101 individuals representing 16 institutions. This year, King University led the way with an impressive 13 Scholar All-Americans while Augsburg University, Emmanuel College, and Tiffin University each tied with 9 honorees.

Tiffin's 9 honorees is an increase from last year when TU had 5 selections. Ceja, Mondragon, Hites, and Lee all earned All American selection last season.
